In Asian Games,with a total of 81 medals, including 18 gold, 31 silver, and 32 bronze, India is currently in fourth place in the overall medal tally.This is India's best-ever performance at the Asian Games.Indian athletes are having a stellar day on Wednesday, day 11.
In men's javelin throw, Neeraj Chopra bagged Gold and Kishore Jena secured a silver medal. In women’s 800m final, Harmilan Bains bagged a silver. Avinash Sable bagged a silver medal in the Men's 5000m Final. In the 4x400m relay, the men’s team won a gold medal, whereas the women's team bagged silver.
Both Neeraj and Kishore were subject to stress at the start of the men's javelin final due to technical failures. Neeraj's first throw was scratched off due to technical reasons that led to a huge delay. Kishore Jena's second throw was wrongly called foul before it was given the white flag. However, both the stars overcame the early setbacks to finish on the podium.It was Kishore who was leading the men's javelin final at the halfway mark as he notched up his personal best of 86.77m.

However, Neeraj Chopra did not lose sight of the job in hand. He defended his Asian Games crown with a sensational throw of 88,88m, his season best.
In Archery, the Indian duo of Jyoti Surekha Vennam and Ojas Deotale won gold in the Compound Mixed Team final, defeating South Korea by a score of 159-158. In Boxing, Lovlina Borgohain won silver in the women's 75 kg event, while Parveen Hooda won bronze in the women's 57 kg event.
In Squash, the Indian mixed team of Abhay Singh and Anahat Singh won bronze after losing to the Malaysian duo. Dipika Pallikal and Harinder Pal Singh reached the final of the mixed doubles event defeating Hong Kong in the semifinals. Saurav Ghoshal through to the Squash Men’s singles final, he beat Henry Leung of China.
