The five-day Aero India show began at the Air Force Station in Yelahanka, Bengaluru on Monday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 14th edition of the biennial show. Aero India 2023 showcased the strides India is making in defence and aerospace.

Indian Air Force’s Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team performed various heart-stopping manoeuvres. The air display team also made a heart in the sky which amazed the audience.

The Indigenous Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas also performed and showcased various manoeuvres.

The biggest attraction of Day 1 of the five-day event was the stunning air show by various aircraft and helicopters of the Indian Air Force.

As per information 251 agreements with expected investments of Rs75,000 crore are likely to be signed between various Indian and foreign defence companies.

On the theme ‘The runway to a billion opportunities’, it seeks to display India’s growth in aerospace and defence capabilities,

The five-day mega event will conclude on February 17 with February 13 and 15 as Business Days and February 16 and 17 to be open for the public. The event includes a Defence Ministers’ Conclave, a CEO’s Round Table, a start-up event called Manthan, a Bandhan ceremony, breathtaking air demonstrations, a large exhibition, an India Pavilion, and a trade fair of aerospace firms.
