The Indian equity indices traded with record high gains on Tuesday amid supportive global markets and expectation of a rate pause by the US Federal Reserve. At close,the Sensex was up 418.45 points or 0.67 percent, to close at 63,143.16 and the Nifty gained 114.70 points, or 0.62 percent, to end at 18,716.15.
Stocks and Sectors
Cipla, Tata Consumer Products, Titan Company, Asian Paints and ITC were among the biggest gainers on the Nifty. While,losers included Kotak Mahindra Bank, Adani Enterprises, HCL Technologies, M&M and Adani Ports, according to sources.
On sectoral front,all indices ended in the green, with realty up 3 percent. FMCG, pharma, metal and PSU bank were up one percent each.The BSE midcap index rose 1 percent and smallcap index added 0.8 percent.
On 13th June'23,the Indian rupee strengthens about 5 paise to close at 82.38 against the U.S dollar.

Market experts have recommended five stocks to buy for Tuesday- BPCL, HCL Tech, TTMP, Infosys and Laurus Labs.
