PM Modi to inaugurate Vibrant Gujarat Global summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a significant visit to his home state, Gujarat, from January 8th to 10th. During this visit, he will inaugurate 10th edition of the prestigious Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, a biennial event aimed at fostering global business partnerships and economic growth,in Gandhinagar.In a press release, the government said that the Prime Minister will arrive in Ahmedabad on January 8 night and hold bilateral meetings with world leaders the next day.Officials said that heads of four countries including UAE, Czech Republic, Mozambique and Timor-Leste would be arriving for the bilateral talks.
The meetings will be held at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar, which will be followed by Modi’s interaction with CEOs of top global corporations. The PM will inaugurate ‘Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show’ on January 9.Reportedly, the show will have participation from 20 countries including Australia, Tanzania, Morocco, Mozambique, South Korea, Thailand, Estonia, Bangladesh, Singapore, UAE (United Arab Emirates), UK, Germany, Norway, Finland, Netherlands, Russia, Rwanda, Japan, Indonesia, and Vietnam. 
In the release, the state government said that these countries will present information about their industries.The event will host over 1,000 exhibitors from the research sector, highlighting ongoing research and innovations across various fields. A total of 100 countries will participate in the trade show as visiting countries, while 33 countries will join as partners.The trade show will feature 13 halls dedicated to 13 different themes, including 'Make in Gujarat' and 'AatmaNirbhar Bharat'. Approximately, 450 MSME units will also be participating.
The PM will also be inaugurating the summit on January 10 where over 50 leaders of multinational firms are likely to participate in the event. The highlight of the summit is said to be the participation of CEOs of chip-making industries.
