Timeless songs of Bobby

Raj Kapoor had decided not to take Shankar for Bobby (Jaikishan had already died).
Raj Kapoor contacted Laxmikant, Pyarelal but they were reluctant, saying Shankar was alive, why don't you use his services? Raj Kapoor gave his reasoning.Then they kept one condition that Lata would sing all the female voice songs. 

Lata after ‘Sangam’ did not sing for Raj Kapoor in ‘Mera Naam Joker’ and ‘Kal Aaj Aur Kal’ as Raj Kapoor would not pay her royalty of songs for ‘Sangam’ film. 
Someone told Raj Kapoor that both of his films failed probably as Lata did not sing in those films, hence Lata entered. 

But Raj Kapoor put his foot down when Laxmikant Pyarelal wanted to take Kishore Kumar for Rishi Kapoor. 
But Raj Kapoor was adamant to take a fresh voice for Rishi. 
Then Shailendra Singh walked in.

Rest is history !!
