Here's why "Nath Krishna Aur Gauri Ki Kahani" actress Anupama Solanki feels proud of being a TV actor

“It’s an honour for me to be a TV actor because people are influenced by the medium and sometimes people love us and sometimes they hate us too because of the characters we play. I feel fortunate that we influence the world and it’s a big opportunity and responsibility to guide our society. I have been addicted to TV dramas since childhood so I have observed the TV industry very closely and TV serials but honestly I feel the TV industry has become more backward compared to the 90's. These days we are showing in a TV series that we are going to the moon from a scooter. I was shocked to see that scene. I don’t want to take names but there are 100 of serials who are making the TV industry a disaster. I did not belong to 90’s TV shows but later I saw lots of TV shows who are outstanding. Nukkad natak, Chandrakanta, Ramanyana, Mahabharata, Dekh Bhai Dekh, Byomkesh Bakshi, there is a huge list of hit show but these days only few shows are doing good like my Dangal TV show "Nath Krishna Aur Gauri Ki Kahani" along with Star Plus' "Anupamaa" and Ekta Kapoor's "Kundali Bhagya." I am not happy with our TV industry but don’t have any option so I have accepted whatever it is,” she says.
Anupama watches TV every day for 2 hours, engages in 30 minutes of YouTube and one hour on social media.About the two things she is proud of being a part of The TV industry, she adds, “There is no cheap vulgar content and the second thing is you become rich working here (smiles).”
Sherleen Dutt on her journey towards becoming an acton

Back in her childhood days, when she used to be all by herself, Sherleen Dutt’s mind was a playground of endless imagination. In those solitary moments, a secret desire began to bloom within her— that is the dream of becoming an actor. She is happy to have fulfilled her desire. Till now the actor has been a part of projects such as AFL (Anything For Love), KINK (Kiss Ishq N Konnections) and Honey Trap Squad on Alt Balaj. Sherleen talks about her journey so far.
“In the quiet valleys of Jammu & Kashmir, where traditions echo louder than aspirations, a young dreamer silently nurtured ambitions that defied her conservative upbringing. At just 18, I embarked on a clandestine journey to pursue a passion deemed unconventional in my family – acting. Born into a joint family where government jobs were the ultimate aspiration, breaking free from the shackles of conformity was my silent rebellion. In a household that frowned upon dreams, especially for the only girl child, I dared to harbour aspirations beyond the usual. The first challenge was convincing my strict parents to let me chase my dreams in the city of dreams – Mumbai,” she says.
Under the guise of pursuing studies, she stepped into the bustling streets of Navi Mumbai, secretly laying the foundation for a future they couldn't comprehend. Every day was a balancing act – attending college in Navi Mumbai by day and navigating local trains to reach for shoots by night.
“The struggle was real, but so were the dreams I cradled within. From the confines of my conservative upbringing, I explored the vast landscape of experiences that Mumbai offered. They say that experience is the best teacher, and my journey attests to that. The auditions, the rejections, and the relentless pursuit of a dream molded me into a resilient individual. Each setback was a lesson, and every triumph fueled my determination to go further. In the midst of secrecy, I laid the foundation of my dreams, ensuring that my pursuit didn't hurt those who couldn't fathom my aspirations. Mumbai became more than a city; it became the canvas on which I painted my dreams, unburdened by the expectations of my past. Today, as I stand on the precipice of acceptance, my once conservative family embraces my dreams. The applause and support I receive are not just for the roles I play on screen but for the audacity to dream in a world that once tried to confine those dreams. Blessed with newfound support, I am more focused than ever on my acting career. Yet, the hunger to learn propels me forward.
For the actor, every day is a lesson, every experience a stepping stone. “My journey doesn't end here; it's a relentless pursuit of excellence, a commitment to evolving, and an unwavering desire to go far. This is not just a story of a girl who became an actor; it's a testament to the power of dreams, the courage to break free, and the resilience to carve a path when none existed. From silence to the spotlight, my journey is a celebration of dreams realized against all odds,” she adds.
Looking back, she remembers how as a child when she would lose herself in make-believe worlds, creating characters, stories, and scenes that existed only in the theater of her mind. It was in those quiet daydreams that the spark of wanting to be an actor ignited, like a hidden treasure waiting to be discovered, shares Sherleen.
