Sana is not someone who would create a problem: Luv Israni

Celebrity lawyer Sana Raees Khan is doing very well in the Bigg Boss 17 house. With her strong personality and no-nonsense attitude, she's become a very strong contender in the house. Luv Israni, celebrity photographer is a very dear friend of Sana and he shares some insight on Sana.He says, "The first time I met her was when I was at her college (SIES) to judge a competition. She won the title of Ms. Pageant in her college. I had noticed even then she answered everything so fiercely and with so much confidence, I was amazed and chose her as the winner.  I had also promised her a free portfolio shoot 10 years ago as a reward. While she didn’t come to me for a portfolio, we were always in touch. And over the years our professional relationship turned into a real solid friendship. We bumped into each other a few years ago while she was at the high court. We sat and discussed her other dreams and aspirations and thought of getting a portfolio done.”
Luv, who has a special eye for beauty says, "Sana loves facing the camera. Recently, we finally shot the portfolio which has various looks. It was an amazing photo shoot,  but as we know, she is a lawyer, so the pictures didn’t get much fame and popularity.”
When Sana got the offer of Bigg Boss, she did consult Luv about her participation. Luv shares, "When the Bigg Boss offer came to Sana, she had asked me what she should do, I remember we had continued this conversation consecutively for 3 days. I advised her to participate in the show. Everybody has apprehensions and she also had it. She was a bit dicey because she also had important cases to handle. But finally she jumped in. She went inside the house as she wanted to tell the world a lawyer can also participate in a reality show like Bigg Boss. Lawyers are capable of handling a difficult case and also can play a reality show like BB. And now she has been in the house for the last 6 weeks, almost a month and a half. I find her game really well. The way she is playing the game is her personality, she is not someone who would create a problem in the house for no matter what. But she is the one who would definitely stand up for the right decision. And that’s what I love about her.”

Sikandar Kharbanda:role in 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' is a milestone moment

Actor Sikandar Kharbanda, who plays the role of Manoj Poddar in Rajan Shahi’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, says that he is proud to be part of the show. He adds that the show has been running for almost 15 years now as the audience feels connected to it. “YRKKH is India’s longest running television show. So if one gets offered to play a character in this show, it’s definitely a milestone moment. Also, after almost 15 years, I will be seen on Star Plus again,” he says, adding, “It is indeed a rare feat that a show is consistent with their connection and content. To be part of such a popularly successful franchise, is very gratifying for any actor. I’m fortunate that I got this opportunity.”
Talking about his role, he says, “My character excites me because I’m getting to play a role that’s unlike I’ve ever done, a docile, gentleman who puts others' needs before his own. An out and out positive character.” He adds, “The one thing that I share with the character I’m playing is the love and respect I hold towards my family and that in reel and real life, I absolutely adore my wife.”
He says he is sure the audience will love this part of the show as well. “I am pretty confident that the audience will love this new family as much as the earlier ones. The reason being that I’m confident in the maker’s vision, which is time tested. They’ve done it before and they will do it again. 15 years is a long time to prove that. Rajan Sir is one of the most creative people I have ever known. He is an extremely hands-on producer and oversees each aspect of the show with an eye for detail. He does not compromise with the quality of the show. Be it the storyline, the cast or the backdrops. And to be on board with such a team, guarantees a satisfying outcome,” he says.
Talking about love triangles in the show, he says, “Human emotions are not a simple concept. Complex emotions and complex situations make for a good drama. And good dramas make for good entertainment. Love triangles are a delicate subject and to walk the thin line without completely falling on one side, needs equally delicate story telling.”

Heard about our late PM, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s name in our history books says Vyom Thakkar

The newbie child artist Vyom Thakkar is all set to step into the television industry with not only a lead role but also a notable one, that of ‘Young Atal’ in &TV’s new show ‘Atal’. After going through over 300+ auditions of various child artists, Vyom was finalised to essay Young Atal, depicting the formative years of one of the most prominent Prime Ministers of India, the late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. In a brief interview with us, the young Vyom shares his excitement about his first television show and essaying the childhood role of a prominent leader. Here are the excerpts from the interview:
1-This is your first television show. How does it feel?
I am very happy, and so are my friends! They proudly go and announce to everyone on my television debut. Everyone is so excited. I have experience in ads, print ads, and runway modelling. The selection process was long, as many children auditioned for the role. I think about 300+ auditions and feel lucky to be chosen among many. My parents were super excited, and so were my family and friends. We all are waiting for the day to see me on screen. It will be a big celebration at home!
2-What's your favourite part about playing the young version of this great leader on TV?
My favourite part is that I learned a lot about our late Prime Minister, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, which no history book or anyone could have told me about easily. Not only am I excited about the role, but also thankful for being chosen for it. Apart from this, I also enjoy wearing a costume of that era and reliving his childhood moments, which most people don’t know much about. It’s like a history class with role-play – isn’t it such an interesting way to learn?
3-Did you learn anything interesting or important about Atal Ji while preparing for your role?
Absolutely! I had only heard about him in our history books and from my parents, but I never imagined that someday I would portray his childhood role in a television show! We also had a workshop to help me prepare for the role, which allowed me to learn much about him. Also, one common factor I could relate to was that he was quite influenced by his grandfather and very attached to his mother, just like me!
4-Can you tell us about the adventures or fun moments you've had on set?
Oh, there have been so many fun moments! One day, I wanted to play cricket on the sets after my scenes were done. So, after convincing a few people around me to play with me, the entire crew got into the game after the pack-up. It was so much fun! I get ample breaks to eat, study and play, so there is never a dull moment.
5-How do you prepare for a day of shoot? Is there something special you do before getting into character?
To begin with, we had an extensive workshop to help each of us prepare for our character with a detailed briefing, performance, and learning. It helped me a lot to know and understand my role and how to go about it. Before every shoot, I practise my lines with the co-actors and the writer. Everyone is so forthcoming and helpful. They help, guide, and encourage me a lot. My parents also help me prepare as I prepare for tests, exams, or homework.
6-What's it like working with the other actors and the director on the show?
The other actors are so warm and welcoming. They teach and play with me and have become my buddies. Similarly, the Director and Writer helped me understand the scenes and lines and made it easy to give my best shot. They encourage me a lot. I see them as the captains of our fun adventure ship on set. We all work together; it feels like a big, entertaining family.
7-Are there any similarities between you and the young leader you portray on screen?
First, what I like the most about Young Atal’s personality is his sense of humour and poetry. I don’t have either of these, but I am as curious as he was, and I think we both have big dreams, which makes us similar. I hope one day I can be as great as he was!
8-What message or lesson do you hope kids watching the show will take away from your portrayal of this leader's childhood?
I hope kids see that even when you're little, you can dream big and be a kind and brave person. My character shows that even the greatest leaders started as kids with big hearts and dreams. It is about believing in yourself and going after what you truly believe.
