The Union Budget always has the country glued to the finance minister's speech and to the various proposals made during the speech or in the finance bill. The Union Budget is also the biggest source of government data release. The economic outlook team at cmie immediately captures all this data and makes it available to economic outlook subscribers. The government released the data by around 12:30 pm on February 1, 2023. By 6 pm the same day, economic outlook delivered over 1,500 indicators in the form of over four thousand time-series in about 400 tabulations placing each of these in historical context as the data was presented as a time-series.
Time-series data is the hallmark of the economic outlook service. It is what helps in making immediate sense of the new data releases. See a few snapshots below for better unserstanding.
