In Ukraine, at least 30 people were killed and over 100 were wounded in a Russian rocket strike in in eastern city of Kramatorsk being used for civilian evacuation on Friday as civilians tried to evacuate to safer parts of the country, the state railway company said. The station was being used for evacuations of residents amid the raging Russian-Ukraine war, news agency AFP reported.
Ukrainian forces are in control of the entire northeast region of Sumy along the border with Russia, its governor said Friday.

Sumy Oblast Governor Dmytro Zhyvytsky announced on Facebook that the region is clear of Russia's forces, but that explosions may still be heard as rescue service workers dispose of ammunition left by the Russian military.
The destruction left by Russian troops in the town of Borodianka outside of Kyiv is "much more horrific" than the situation uncovered in the nearby town of Bucha, President Zelensky said.
