In USA, multiple gunshots were fired near the White House perimeter in Washington, D.C. on Saturday evening. As per report, the suspect has been neutralized and identified as Wilma(born William) Sexton, a trans Democrat activist angry about a possible peace deal between the U.S. and Iran. A manifesto was found on his body but not yet released, it said. Security tightened around the area after shots were fired near the White House grounds. Secret Service sniper teams were also seen positioned on the White House roof, a standard protective deployment during active security incidents.

According to the agency, the reported gunfire occurred near the intersection of 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, just outside the White House perimeter. Officials said they were working to verify the reports with personnel deployed on the ground.FBI Director Kash Patel said the FBI was assisting the Secret Service at the scene.US President Donald Trump was at the White House at the time, as he worked to reach an agreement with Iran.
This comes a month after the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, which was also attended by Trump. Shots were fired inside the Washington Hilton, where the dinner was taking place. The suspect in the incident, Cole Tomas Allen, attempted to run a security checkpoint with a shotgun in his hand. Trump and other officials were evacuated from the spot, while Allen was taken into custody.
