PM Modi departs for Delhi

Two day Quad summit has concluded in Tokyo on Tuesday. PM Narendra Modi departs for Delhi after attending a productive Quad Summit and having forged stronger partnerships with Australia, Japan, and USA. Eaelier , Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited former Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga to lead a delegation of Japanese MPs to India.  Suga called on Prime Minister Modi today in Tokyo. They recalled their previous interactions, including their bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the first in-person Quad Leaders’ Summit in Washington D.C. in September 2021. Prime Minister appreciated  Suga’s contribution to deepening and strengthening India-Japan relations. The two leaders exchanged views on further strengthening the India-Japan Special Strategic and Global Partnership.
