MP govt signs MoU with DP World to boost logistics, investment

The Madhya Pradesh government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with DP World, a Dubai-based global logistics and supply chain major, during the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos, in a move aimed at strengthening the state’s logistics ecosystem and attracting fresh investments.The MoU outlines a framework to advance investment and cooperation opportunities for DP World in Madhya Pradesh, with a focus on enhancing connectivity to national and global supply chain networks. The agreement is expected to play a key role in improving logistics efficiency, infrastructure development and commercial activity across the state.
According to information,the MoU was signed on behalf of the Madhya Pradesh government by Additional Chief Secretary Neeraj Mandloi, while Anil Mohta, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial and Business Development Officer of DP World, signed on behalf of the company. DP World Group Chairman Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem was also present at the signing ceremony.On the occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s industrial policies, investment-friendly environment and robust infrastructure, underscoring the state’s readiness to partner with global players. Officials said the agreement reflects a shared consensus on promoting industrial development and investment cooperation, which could provide fresh momentum to the state’s logistics, infrastructure and trade-related activities.
