In Afghanistan, two blasts rocked capital Kabul on Saturday morning. The blasts took place near a Gurdwara. The explosions hit a busy road near the Gurdwara in Kabul's Karte Parwan area. The area is densely populated and several people are feared dead, say local news reports. The attack started at 7:15am Kabul time (8.30 am India time). The guard of the Gurudwara was shot dead and three Taliban soldiers wounded. Two attackers were cornered by Taliban soldiers. At least 7-8 people are still believed to be trapped inside, but the numbers are not confirmed."The blast took place at Batkhak Square in the 10th district of Kabul," Tolo News said in a Tweet.United Sikhs has condemn the attack on Gurudwara.

External affairs minister S Jaishankar on Saturday condemned the terror attack on Karte Parwan gurudwara in Kabul. India is closely monitoring developments.

According to reports, 25-30 Afghan Hindus and Sikhs were present in the Gurudwara for morning prayers and as the attackers entered the premises, 10-15 managed to flee. The rest are trapped inside or feared to be dead.
