US President Donald Trump addressed the nation on Sunday, hours after American forces launched coordinated airstrikes on three of Iran's key nuclear facilities — Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. Calling it a "spectacular military success", Trump said the mission had achieved its primary goal: the destruction of Iran's nuclear enrichment capabilities."Iran, the bully of the Middle East, must now make peace. If they do not, future attacks would be far greater and a lot easier. Remember, there are many targets left. Tonight’s was the most difficult of them all by far, and perhaps the most lethal," the President said. “I can report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular military success,” he said. “Iran’s key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated.”

This is the first time since the Iranian Revolution in 1979 that the US has attacked facilities inside Iran. The Israel-Iran war began when the Israeli military launched "Operation Rising Lion" last Friday and attacked Iran's nuclear and military sites, top generals and nuclear scientists. Israel said it had concluded Tehran was on the verge of developing a nuclear weapon.
As per information, the US used B-2 stealth bombers to attack the nuclear sites. The advanced aircraft are known for being capable of delivering the huge 30,000-pound GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator. The “bunker-buster” bomb is thought to be capable of destroying the Fordo facility, which had remained untouched over the past eight days, even as Israel inflicted massive damage on the Natanz and Isfahan nuclear facilities. The bomb is believed to be able to penetrate about 200 feet (61 meters) below the surface before exploding, and can be dropped one after another in succession, effectively drilling deeper and deeper with each successive blast.
