The US military said on Saturday that two of its personnel were killed in Jordan and another was missing after an Iranian attack, while Tehran said it had suspended adherence to the memorandum of understanding with Washington and published a message,saying the US would pay an “unforgettable” price for “seeking to incite war” amid daily tit-for-tat attacks. Iran launched missiles and drones at US-linked facilities in Jordan, Kuwait and Bahrain. Jordan said it intercepted 10 missiles early Saturday, while Kuwait reported injuries and damage to a power and desalination plant.
A statement says they were killed Friday as the U.S. and partner forces defended against Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks. These are the first U.S. deaths due to Iranian fire since the opening days of the war. It says four other service members who were were medically evacuated to Jordanian hospitals were later discharged. The dead were not identified.Since the war began, 16 US service members have been killed and over 430 wounded. US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth posted on X: “Godspeed, heroes. Their sacrifice only stiffens our resolve.”

"Iran's actions constitute a highly dangerous escalation, a grave violation of international law and the United Nations (UN) Charter, as well as war crimes requiring international accountability and prosecution, given the deliberate targeting of infrastructure and civilian facilities," the secretary general of the Gulf Cooperation Council Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi said, in a statement. Kuwait Petroleum Corporation said one of its oil facilities was hit by "repeated Iranian attacks", resulting in significant material damage and some injuries, according to Kuwait’s state news agency.
