Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday announced the launch of the second phase of the ‘Chalo School Campaign’ from July 1, urging teachers and parents to work together to ensure regular attendance of students and strengthen the state’s education system.In a post on social media platform X, Adityanath said the beginning of July marks a renewed commitment towards bringing millions of children to schools and helping them achieve their dreams through education.“July is not merely the beginning of a new month, but also the time for renewing our resolve to bring the dreams of millions of children to school. In Uttar Pradesh, the second phase of the ‘Chalo School Campaign’ is commencing from July 1,” the Chief Minister said.

Adityanath appealed to teachers to create an engaging learning environment where children develop interest in attending schools rather than viewing education as a routine responsibility. He suggested using activities such as sports and games to encourage participation and make classrooms more interactive.The Chief Minister also called on parents to focus on their children’s dedication and determination rather than only academic marks, stressing the importance of ensuring their regular presence in schools.“Parents should evaluate children not only by their marks but by their determination and dedication. It is the responsibility of parents to ensure their regular attendance at school,” he said.Calling the initiative a people’s movement, Adityanath urged citizens to participate in the campaign and contribute towards improving education outcomes across Uttar Pradesh.He said the future of the state would be strengthened when every child receives the benefits of education and remains connected with the schooling system.The second phase of the ‘Chalo School Campaign’ aims to increase school enrolment, improve attendance and encourage greater participation of children in education across Uttar Pradesh.
