At least 32 people, including police personnel, were injured after a bus collided with a container lorry in Koyilandy in the early hours of Saturday, officials said.According to police, the bus was carrying personnel of the Malabar Special Police (MSP) who were returning to their base after completing election duty. The accident took place around 12:30 am on a National Highway stretch near Kollam in Koyilandy.
Authorities said the collision occurred when the bus rammed into a container lorry, leaving several personnel injured. Emergency services rushed to the spot, and the injured were promptly shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment.Officials confirmed that all the injured received preliminary medical care and were later discharged, indicating that none of the injuries were life-threatening.Police have launched an investigation to ascertain the cause of the accident.
