CM Patel launches BJP’s ‘Jan Seva Sankalp’ campaign in Ahmedabad

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Sunday kicked off the Bharatiya Janata Party’s election campaign with a large-scale ‘Jan Seva Sankalp’ event in Ahmedabad to support BJP candidates across 15 municipalities, marking the party’s formal push ahead of the upcoming local body polls in the state.The campaign, launched with the slogan “Jai Shri Ram”, witnessed a massive show of strength as BJP candidates and party workers gathered in large numbers at Kankaria. All candidates from the city’s 48 wards came together, reflecting strong organisational unity and enthusiasm at the grassroots level.The campaign focuses on public outreach, governance achievements, and strengthening grassroots connect ahead of local body polls. Senior party leaders and supporters were present during the launch event.


According to information,a total of 192 BJP candidates took a pledge of public service under the ‘Jan Seva Sankalp’, reaffirming their commitment to governance and development. Senior party leaders and supporters were also present at the event, which highlighted the party’s focus on outreach and voter connect.The initiative aims to showcase the government’s achievements while strengthening engagement with citizens ahead of the elections. Gujarat is set to go to polls for Municipal Corporations, Municipalities, District Panchayats, and Taluka Panchayats on April 26, with results scheduled to be announced on April 28.The launch of the campaign signals the BJP’s intensified efforts to consolidate support across urban and rural constituencies in the state.
