Can't accept Haryana results, J&K mandate is decisive: Congress

The Congress is not ready to accept the Haryana Assembly election verdict. The party has alleged EVM manipulation and accused the BJP of subverting the people's will. The party spokesperson Jairam Pawan Khera said, We've received very serious complaints on the process of counting, the functioning of EVMs in at least three districts. The consolidated complaints will be submitted to the Election Commission very soon.We reiterate that the results in Haryana are totally unexpected, completely surprising, and counterintuitive. It goes against ground reality—what the people of Haryana had made up for, which was for change and transformation.

As per Jairam Ramesh,the people of J&K have given a clear, decisive mandate to the National Conference and Indian National Congress alliance. The priority of the alliance government will be the restoration of the statehood of J&K.The alliance government will be responsible, accountable, and transparent for the people of J&K.The people of J&K have defeated the mischievous designs of the BJP to engineer a majority of its own.
