In Arunachal Pradesh, an Army heavy vehicle met with an accident due to inclement weather conditions between Pango and Palsi on Wednesday morning . Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) troops rushed with emergency intravenous supply and immediately started possible field critical treatment to the injured soldiers. One jawan reported dead but 7 seriously injured were stabilised by the team. Injured have been airlifted to the Hospital. The army vehicle, carrying 11 personnel, was on its way to Tuting army camp in Siang district from a transit camp at Migging. The truck fell into a gorge between Pango and Tuting around 7.10 am while negotiating the hilly road. The four critically injured jawans were evacuated by an army chopper.One of them was admitted at Dinjan Army Base Hospital in Assam’s Tinsukia district, while the other three personnel were taken to the Army Base Hospital in Guwahati.
