4.7 magnitude earthquake hits Hingoli in Maharashtra; tremors felt nearby

Earthquake measuring 4.7 magnitude struck parts of Hingoli district in Maharashtra, sending brief tremors across nearby regions, including Nanded and Parbhani, officials said.
The tremors were felt by residents in several areas, prompting many to step out of their homes as a precaution. While the sudden jolt caused momentary panic, authorities have confirmed that no casualties or major damage to property have been reported so far.


Local administration and disaster management teams remain on alert, monitoring the situation closely. Initial assessments suggest that the earthquake was of moderate intensity, with limited impact on infrastructure.
