In Jammu and Kashmir, security forces gunned down two terrorists during an encounter in the Anantnag district on Saturday morning after the security forces launched an anti-terrorist operation in the Halkan Gali area. A second encounter broke out in Srinagar during a cordon and search operation by a joint team of police and security forces.Security forces launched the operation after receiving the input that some terrorists were hiding in the area..Kashmir IGP VK Birdi said, "...Now this operation has been completed. This marks the fourth terrorist-related incident in the Kashmir valley since Friday. Two migrant workers from Uttar Pradesh were shot in Budgam district on Friday. Both sustained injuries during the attack and have been shifted to JVC Hospital Bemina in Srinagar, where they are receiving treatment.
