WPL2023: UP Warriorz beat Gujarat Giants by 3 wickets

In Women's Premier League Cricket, UP  Warriorz, (UPW) defeated Gujarat Giants (GG) at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai by three wickets. Grace Harris with 72 and Tahlia McGrath with 57 were the top scorers for UP. Earlier, GG won the toss, elected to bat and scored 178 for 6 wickets. With this win UP Warrorz also sealed the final playoff berth and joined Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals for the next stage. 

Earlier, Dayalan Hemalatha and Ashleigh Gardner slammed 50 each as Gujarat Giants posted 178/6 in 20 overs after opting to bat first. The pair added 93 runs for the fourth-wicket as Gujarat recovered from 50/3. Hemlatha scored 57 off 33 balls, which featured six 4s and three 6s. Her partner, Gardner, scored 60 off 39 balls, also smashing the same number of 4s and 6s
