Rahul thinks he's born to rule, his frustration visible: Pralhad Joshi

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi on Thursday slammed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, claiming that the LoP in Lok Sabha feels he's "born to rule", and alleged that his frustration was clearly visible. The Union minister further alleged that Gandhi has "forgotten his civility". Replying to a question on Rahul Gandhi's conduct, Joshi said, "The feelings of frustration and disappointment are clearly visible in Rahul Gandhi. He has become completely desperate." “Congress leader and LoP Rahul Gandhi’s continued disregard for parliamentary institutions is deeply unfortunate. The disruption of the Monsoon Session reflects the arrogance of an individual who repeatedly avoids meaningful debate in Parliament and chooses to make political statements on foreign soil,” Joshi said.“Rahul Gandhi is selective and arrogant; he wants Parliament to run exactly according to his whims, disregarding the constitutional framework of the government,” Joshi alleged.

The NEET paper leak issue emerged as a key opposition plank. He claimed that the entire session was disrupted because of the “ego of one individual”, adding that the Opposition repeatedly changed its demands even after the government agreed to address them. Joshi's remark came after the conclusion of the Monsoon Session of Parliament that saw relentless protests by the opposition over the police action against agitating students and the alleged theft of Ram temple donations, besides the passage of several key bills without debate.
