Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) National President and BJP MP Hemang Joshi on Tuesday accused the Congress-led Opposition of spreading misinformation and creating an atmosphere of anarchy, announcing a nationwide youth campaign to counter what he described as the Opposition’s misleading narratives.
Reacting to Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge’s remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s father at a rally in Bihar, Joshi alleged that frustration within the Congress had led its leaders to resort to personal attacks against the Prime Minister and his family.“Look at the anti-national statements coming from the Congress and its alliance partners over the past few days. Ever since the public thwarted their fake protests and anarchic moves, frustration has driven them to make such statements,” Joshi said.
Referring to the Bihar rally, he alleged that Kharge used objectionable language against the Prime Minister’s father after people raised slogans in support of Modi. Joshi further accused Congress leaders of competing to target the Prime Minister and his family to please Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi.“The Youth Wing of BJP will expose the evil design of Congress,” Joshi said, adding that the Congress-led Opposition was a “frustrated lot” and that BJYM would launch a nationwide campaign against the Congress and Rahul Gandhi.

The campaign, titled ‘Arajakta Hatao, Loktantra Bachao’ (Remove Anarchy, Save Democracy), was launched on Sunday amid ongoing Congress-led Opposition protests across the country, particularly in Delhi. The initiative will continue until November 30 and aims to engage young citizens in discussions on democracy, counter misinformation and encourage informed participation in nation-building.According to the BJP, the campaign will also seek to counter what it described as false narratives surrounding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and other national issues. To mark the launch, BJYM state units organised the ‘Mann Ki Baat Yuvaon ke Saath’ programme, bringing together young professionals to listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio broadcast, Mann Ki Baat, followed by discussions on national development and youth participation.

These events will provide young people with a platform to discuss national issues, share their aspirations and understand their role in shaping the country’s future.
BJYM leaders will also visit colleges and educational institutions to interact with students, young professionals and aspiring leaders. The discussions will focus on democratic institutions, electoral processes and the SIR exercise, with the stated objective of addressing misconceptions through fact-based dialogue. The campaign will also feature one-to-one interactions between youth icons, influencers and students to examine claims circulating in the public domain and encourage young people to assess information critically before accepting or sharing it.
