Imran Khan still not arrested, This is London plan, he alleges

In Pakistan,a police team that arrived to arrest Imran Khan on Tuesday faced fierce resistance from PTI supporters, who converged on Zaman Park in Lahore,to protect their chairman from arrest, braving tear gas and water cannons to keep the police party at bay. Meanwhile, Imran Khan said, “The way we were targeted by the police, it is a first. There is no reason why they have taken this step. My bail was on the 18th. They knew why I was not attending the bail… because of security.” “They are preparing again, I know. I have given an undertaking in the Lahore High Court that I will be in court on the 18th. But it was not accepted," Imran Khan said ahead of his possible arrest.

A team of Islamabad police has been in Lahore to comply with the court orders to arrest the PTI chairman — who faces a number of cases in different cities. The riot police, although observing restraint, are using water canons and firing teargas to disperse the party's workers as they move ahead in their quest to arrest Khan.
