Yajuvendra Chahal became the 2nd fastest Indian spinner after his spin partner Kuldeep Yadav to pick up 100 wickets in ODI cricket. Chahal achieved the fear in his 60th match for India when he removed big-hitting Nicholas Pooran in the very first over of his spell under Rohit Sharma's captaincy in the first ODI.Chahal also became the 5th fastest Indian bowler to pick up 100 wickets in ODI cricket. Chahal was on 99 when he arrived in Ahmedabad for the ODI series and he did not take a lot of time to achieve the milestone.

Chahal found his mojo back in India's historic 1000thODI as he picked up 3 quick wickets in his first spell to jolt West Indies in the first of a 3-match series at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday. Chahal was denied his first ODI hat-trick but he achieved a major milestone, joining an elite list of India bowlers in ODI cricket.
