The Japanese Hip Hop/R&B-inspired girl group XG made their debut appearance at "SXSW Sydney" on "Billboard THE STAGE." This marks XG's first live performance in Australia.
During their 50-minute live performance they sang a total of 9 songs, including GRL GVNG, TGIF, NEW DANCE and PUPPET SHOW from their 1st Mini Album, NEW DNA. The girls also performed, for the first time, a cover of Artists Stand Up To Cancer's "JUST STAND UP!". The atmosphere was electric from start to finish.
Harvey, who has roots in Australia, expressed her joy at returning to Australia after seven years: "Performing in Australia has been a dream since I was little, and I'm so excited to be able to do it with my fellow members."
Additionally, XG featured on the cover of the US Billboard magazine, released on the 20th, becoming the first Japanese girl group to do so.
With their appearances at "Head In The Clouds" in NY and LA, "KCON LA 2023," "FORMULA1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX 2023," and "SXSW Sydney," XG has made a significant impact with every single performance. Keep an eye out for XG's future activities.
