In the ICC Women's World Cup, India defeated West Indies by 155 runs at Seddon Park in Hamilton on Saturday. Chasing a victory target of 318 runs, West Indies were all out at 162 runs in 40.3 overs. Smriti Mandhana, India's opening batter, scored 123 runs, while Harmanpreet Kaur scored 109.

Deandra Dottin and Hayley Matthews added 81 in the first powerplay to help West Indies start off well against the Indians. But things changed quickly after Meghna Singh and Sneh Rana picked up two wickets each, leaving West Indies reeling at 114/4. West Indies kept losing wickets at regular intervals to eventually get bowled out for 162, handing India a massive 155-run win.
