Vishnuvardhan brings a calm demeanor on set

Actor-singer and social media celebrity Anveshi Jain recently released her new music video titled Banjaare, which is helmed by Shershaah director Vishnuvardhan. The video is shot and edited by Film maker Shubh Mukherjee who is all praise for his director, who he says he has learnt a lot from. Talking about his experience of working with Vishnuvardhan on Banjaare, he says, “It was very interesting to work with such a skilled director. People know him from Shershaah, but he has done some really path breaking work in the South.” Shubh himself has directed a film titled Kahwa, which has been screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
Shubh goes on to share how he and Vishnuvardhan are also similar in their approach to work. “The way he envisions his films is something very similar to what I do. He is somebody who understands cinematography and editing too. And this song, I have not only shot but also edited. He understands where I come from and being around someone who is very much like you in their thought process, there is so much to learn from him. He brings such a calm demeanor to get things done and that's how even I like to do it. I might get very restless on set, but overall I like to maintain a calm environment on set, and that's something I took back after working with him,” he insists.

Rinku Ghosh: You need to push yourself out of your comfort zone to achieve a bigger goal

Actress Rinku Ghosh, who is currently seen in show Anokha Bandhan, says that one should be very confident of how one is. She adds that she knows herself so well, and that ensures that people close to her also know what she will like and what she won’t."I am sensitive, fun loving, a little bit strict, perfectionist, practical. It is easy for me to describe myself. I think I know myself pretty well. That is very important. Only if you know yourself well, your friends and family will also be sure of what you want and what you don’t like,” she says.
She adds, “We behave differently with different people, at least I do. I don’t open up in front of everyone and anyone, it takes time for me. I need to first be sure of who I am interacting with, and then see how much I want to reveal.” However, she adds that she doesn’t seek validation or praise from people. “I actually don’t need validation from someone else, most of the time. It really doesn’t affect my life in any way. I am pretty confident about myself and in what I do. I might look very simple but I am a very confident person,” she says.
However, the actress says that at times your comfort zone can become a hindrance to your growth. “ I think that sometimes you need to push yourself out of your comfort zone to achieve a bigger goal or an achievement. That little kick in life is important,” she says.

For me, social media is a complete marketing tool: Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi

India’s Dancing Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi, who is currently seen in Laughter Chefs, says he uses social media for sharing knowledge as a chef. And he keeps it only about his skills and expertise without bringing his personal life into it. He said, “For me, social media is a complete marketing tool that I use as a platform for knowledge sharing. It is basically something that I own, like the space where I belong as a chef. I share knowledge as a chef, and I do not infringe by bringing my family, my home, etc. into social media. And I refrain from doing that because I believe that it is a platform where people want to see me, and that's about it.”
“I don't want to show anything beyond my own life or my knowledge, which I want to share. And things that I do personally are what I want to share, and I do not go beyond that. And that's where I draw a line. I do not share my day-to-day routine, what happens in my family, or how my children are doing. I refrain from bringing them in front. And it's also a good thing that my family also encourages me not to come in front of the social media handles that I actually handle on my own,” he added.
He believes that social media is a double-edged sword and feels that the users should be aware of the content they are posting and that it shouldn’t harm others. “It should be a process of sharing knowledge. It should be a process of letting people know probably what you are doing personally in your life or what you are doing as a person, which could be showcasing your business, showcasing your talent, or showcasing something that you are doing. And that is what I personally do, and that is what has helped me. So if a process is continuous, whether it is, for example, the sharing of recipes, whether I get likes or I don't like to get likes, it is immaterial,” he said.
“It is something that is my passion, and I will continue to share that passion with Zeel. And sometimes, when I do shows for television or, you know, some particular fiction roles that I get, I share those on the social platform and nothing else beyond that. I do not infringe on anything that brings harm to  society or I would say that I protect my family and not bring them in front of me,” he added.

'It’s also a space where I set boundaries': Aradhana Sharma on social media

Aradhana Sharma, who is currently seen in Suhagan Chudail, says though she is happy to use social media for connecting with her fans, and sharing her life as an actor, she has also set a boundary. She likes to be genuine and authentic. She said, “Social media is where I connect with my fans, share my journey, and celebrate the magic of storytelling. But it’s also a space where I set boundaries. I love engaging with my audience, but I believe in authenticity and respect. Crossing limits for the sake of views? That’s a no-go for me. My content reflects my true self, and I draw the line at anything that compromises my values or the respect I have for my followers. It’s all about balance—enjoying the spotlight while staying grounded.”
She calls the platform a game-changer for her and says, “It’s given me a voice beyond the screen, allowing me to connect with fans and showcase facets of my life and personality that might not always come through in my roles.”  "Personally, it’s been a space for me to share my passions, like dance and fitness and other activities, and to support causes close to my heart. It’s also a source of inspiration – I’ve discovered so many talented creators and beautiful souls through this platform. The trick is to embrace the positive and not get bogged down by the negativity,” she added.
However, she agrees that it can be overwhelming to see others become too popular on social media too soon. But she added, “Then, I remind myself that everyone’s journey is unique. Popularity on social media is a mix of talent, timing, and sometimes a bit of luck. It’s credible to an extent, but it’s not the only measure of success or talent. What matters more to me is the connection I have with my audience and the impact I make through my work. It’s not just about numbers; it’s about meaningful engagement and staying true to who you are.”
Aradhana pointed out that social media algorithms can be so unpredictable, and it’s easy to get caught up in the numbers game. “There have been times when I’ve put my heart and soul into a reel, and it didn’t get the views I hoped for. It can be frustrating, but I’ve learned to focus on the creative process rather than just the outcome. The joy of creating and sharing something meaningful outweighs the temporary dip in views. Plus, genuine engagement from my followers always lifts my spirits, no matter what the algorithm says,” she said.

Sneh Mishra on being part of 'A Day In Our Lives'

Actress Sneh Mishra, who plays the role of Rhea in the web series A Day In Our Lives (season 3), produced and directed by Raghav Kansal, says that her character is very relatable. She adds that people like to see such simple yet interesting characters and storylines nowadays. “I play Rhea in this series, a character who is independent, emotional, makes her own living, and stays true to her values. I relate to this character a lot because I, too, believe in my values and always follow my heart,” she says.
Web series like this are quite popular among youth, she says, adding, “Nowadays, everyone is busy and has a lot on their plates, especially the youth. People love content that is light, sweet, and brief.” Talking about working with Raghav Kansal, she says, “It has been a great experience across all three seasons. Working with him both as an actor and as part of his production team, I've seen firsthand what kind of director and person he is. His dedication and honesty in his work are truly amazing.”
