UP:Vendors, Auto & E-Rickshaw drivers to be vaccinated from June 14

In Uttar Pradesh special drive for Covid vaccination will be conducted from June 14 for road side vendors, rickshaw pullers, vegetables vendors, Auto and E Rickshaw drivers in all districts. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the concerned authorities to set up two each vaccination centres at Regional Transport Offices (RTO offices)and Municipal Corporation and Nagar Palika Parishad for the purpose. Seperate Centres should be for 18 to 45 years and 46 and above years people. Yogi has said that vaccination should be conducted minimum 100 doses every day to achieve the target for hundred vaccination for these people. He has asked minimum 6 lakhs doses should be jobed during current month.

Chief Minister has said that SoP must be followed during relaxation from Day COVID restrictions and public places. Gathering should be avoided, use of masks and sanitizers should be promoted and social distancing should be maintained. Similarly only 25 people are allowed at marriage ceremonies and 20 are allowed during last rites. These provisions should be followed strictly for containment of infection. Meanwhile Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has laid the foundation of oxyzen plant at Allahabad on Thursday(June 9) through virtual medium. It is being set up by a road construction company Pravhavya. On this  occasion Gadkari said all 50 bed hospitals should be asked to set up their own oxygen plants. UP's Dy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that six oxygen plants are being set at Allahabad and most of them will be functional very soon.  He said several steps have been taken to meet out the demands of medicines, oxygen concentrates and ventilators in future.
