A stunning performance from the UP Warriorz helped them to end Mumbai Indians' winning streak in the WPL 2023 as they defeated Harmanpreet Kaur's team by five wickets on Saturday. Sophie Ecclestone was the star of the show for UPW as she picked up three wickets and hit the winning runs on the day. Mumbai Indians were all out for 127 but they took their defence down to the last over. In the end, it was a six from Sophie Ecclestone off the third ball of the 20th over of the UP Warriorz innings that took them over the line. MI have thus succumbed to their first loss of the season while UPW have kept their chances alive. Grace Harris and Tahlia McGrath provided the major push for UPW in their chase after which Deepti Sharma and Sophie Ecclestone saw them over the finish line.
