US President Donald Trump says, he will speak to Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday. Speaking to reporters aboard his flight from Florida to Washington Sunday evening, Trump noted that discussions will also include issues related to land and power plants as part of the broader effort to bring the war to a close. In their previous conversation in February, Trump and Putin agreed to initiate high-level talks aimed at ending the war in Ukraine. Trump said. "A lot of work's been done over the weekend. We want to see if we can bring that war to an end.”
On the other hand, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said at a briefing in Moscow, that the conversation between US President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin scheduled for Tuesday is indeed being prepared. "Yes, this is indeed the case," he emphasized. "Such a conversation is being prepared for Tuesday," the spokesman added, he said in response to a question.
