Tokyo Olympics:India beat Spain in hockey

Indian men's hockey team gave a thorough performance as they defeated Spain 3-0 in the Pool A clash in men's hockey. Goals from Simranjeet Singh and Rupinder Pal Singh gave India the win. India were the dominant team for much of the game and managed to soak in the pressure whenever Spain were attacking.

Disappointment yet again for India's shooting contingent as Saurabh Chaudhary-Manu Bhaker fail to qualify for mixed-team 10m air pistol Qualification medal rounds. Team of Yashaswini Deswal and Abhishek Verma were also knocked out after Stage 1. Ma Long takes on India's veteran Sharath Kamal in men's singles third round.
