Jungle Raj, Katta Sarkar will never return to Bihar: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday termed the NDA's landslide win in the Bihar assembly elections as a victory of good governance, development and the spirit of public welfare and social justice.Addressing the party workers at BJP HQ in New Delhi Modi said, this massive victory and unwavering faith - Bihar’s people have truly created a storm. Modi said that when he spoke about Jungle Raj and Katta Sarkar during the Bihar elections, the RJD did not object, but the Congress grew uncomfortable. He added that he wants to reiterate that Katta Sarkar will never return to Bihar, saying the people have voted for a Viksit Bihar.

He also took a jab at the Rashtriya Janata Dal - the Tejashwi Yadav-led party was touted as a challenger but fell early as counting began this morning - and its trademark 'M-Y' vote bank, i.e., Muslims and Yadav. "Mahila (women) and youth... this is the new new 'M-Y' formula in Bihar," the Prime Minister declared.
