Telangana Chief Minister and Bharata Rashtra Samithi party president K. Chandrashekar Rao filed his nomination papers from Gajwel constituency on Thursday morning. This is the third straight time he is contesting from Gajwel, which he won from in the 2014 and 2018 elections.

Chandrashekar Rao, who flew from his farm house in Erravalli village to Gajwel, was greeted by thousands of BRS leaders and workers who lined up in the town and at the helipad. After filing his nomination, Chandrashekar Rao got on to a BRS campaign vehicle and went around the helipad greeting people who gathered at the spot. Later he filed nomination papers for his second constituency Kamareddy, he is contesting from two constituencies this time. In Telangana polling will take place on 30th November and counting will be held on December 3.
