One of the most iconic films of Dev Anand which surprisingly in spite of stellar musical performance of Dada Burman, could not run well due to many reasons: One was Dev saab seemed to have ghost directed it.
Amarjeet, the official director seems to have not directed a single shot as Simi would claim in her interview. Dev was a great actor but an extremely sub-standard director. 
Dev Anand  simply didn't remove the camera from his face. Secondly; when coloured films were being made from 1961 starting with ‘Jungalee’ Dev’s decision to make it in black and white in late 65 was outrageous. Public was angry with this decision.
SD Burman’s music was legendary. A little bit of success of this film only owes to its smashing music !!
Clarity of video and stunning looks of Simi and Kalpana Mohan and of course Dev Anand will blow your mind off.
Teen Devian is a wonderfully conceived story whose inner content tells more than what it's title suggests.
