Hindi films were far more forward looking, modern and more merry making in 1960s than later.
Look at the dance sequence of Kalpana Mohan in a full party.

She is trying to lure the hero who is also in a romantic mood playing a piano.
The whole party is charged up.
This kind of no holds bar scenes were far more common in 60s, clearly inspired by Sophie Loren, Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor.
No indian actress can even think to do this kind of dance now.
That aesthetic art of the old seems to have gone for ever !!
