The new Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of Congress has proved his mettle in all respect. Hence he has been Nick named as Geddaramaiah, meaning winning leader. He has already many aliases given by his opponents like Lekkaramaiah meaning accountant and Siddaramullakhan means his appeasement of Muslim community whenever he supports them during communal trouble. He is also popular as Tagaru means male goat as he belongs to kuruba(shepherd) community. He profounded AHINDA movement for welfare of all down trodden communities. Not only his community, but the entire backward classes, religious minorities and Dalits of the state are happy in his victory and feel safe in his government.
Rejoicing the achievement
The entire people of Karnataka are rejoicing with his sanction of free guarantees subjected to imposing many conditions each day, whether they have voted for his party or not. After winning the tough electoral battle a true leader will not look back to see who supported him or not. Like all Kannadigas Siddaramaiah is also happiest leader because he has made it. 42% of the electorate has backed him with 135 MLA'S. In a political battle this record breaking achievement can be dubbed as personification of his ideals. His successful achievements are listed here.
GEDDARAMAIAH
Siddaramaiah yet again has proved that he is a powerful mass leader. He single handedly countered PM Narendra Modi throughout the hectic election campaign. Modi has failed to evoke luke warm response whereas Siddaramaiah sweeped the heart of Kannadigas with his limited local resources. The AHINDA movement started by him when he was in JDS yeilded double fruits in this battle. Backward castes, religious minorities and Dalits through out the state supported his party whole heartedly, without which this tremendous victory would not have been possible. Hence he became Geddaramaiah.
Second term as CHIEF MINISTER
There was tension for a weekly. Hectic lobbying by both Siddaramaiah and KPCC President DK Shivakumar for the post of chief ministership continued and finally victory hugged him making Geddaramaiah. As Chief Minister for second term ha has many unfilled dreams to be implemented. He has enjoyed power for full term in his first attempt. His term for this season has kept secret, and we don't know it is full term or checkerd sharing with DK Shivakumar.It is known only to the high command and both these leaders. This victory is hard earned by his political campaign strategy that showcased local issues and his opposition to corruption of BJP by staying firm towards religious minorities. Majority of the newly elected MLA'S favoured him to be their leader is also point in his favour for leadership. Above all he is a seasoned politician with fine experience of full five years. He has the credit of presenting 14 budgets and on July 7th he will do this by breaking all records.
Mastering the implementation of all 5 free guarantees
It is tatarzanian task. Every one were doubtful about the implementation of guarantees. But Geddaramaiah didn't look back whatever may be the criticism. From day one of assuming the office, kept on working for avenues as to how to make it real deal. But for his efforts Congress would have been in deep trouble to touch them. He cleared all confusions of his ministers as well as people in their implementation. He has to make allocations for all guarantees in his forthcoming budget.
We all hope Geddaramaiah's tenure would give a stable, democratic governance to the people of Karnataka to live peacefully.
