Shahid Kapoor,Pooja Hegde starrer DEVA wraps its first schedule in Mumbai

Touted to be one of the most anticipated releases of 2024 starring Shahid Kapoor, 'Deva,' the forthcoming action thriller directed Rosshan Andrrews and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur , has been making waves since its initial announcement. Starring Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde in the lead, this  entertainer is being produced by Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films. Shot in Mumbai, the cameras started rolling for 'Deva' in late October 2023. Fast forward two months and the team has successfully wrapped up the first schedule of the film, the makers Roy Kapur Films put out a story confirming the same.

I want to be like him, wearing his outfit and making wishes come true for people. As Atal ji’s birthday coincides with Christmas, I am going to celebrate it in a special way. I will dress up like Santa on the set and keep surprise gifts in everyone’s room. I've been asking them what they want from Santa this year (laughs). Some people found out about my plans, but I am trying to keep it a surprise. I hope this Secret Santa mission will bring a lot of joy and happiness on the set.”
Geetanjali Mishra, aka Rajesh from Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, shares, “For several years, I have been the secret Santa for my nephews. Even though they expect my Secret Santa surprises every year, they still get extremely happy upon receiving their special gifts. Witnessing the sheer joy in their eyes upon unwrapping their presents is truly magical. While I have never donned a Santa costume before, I am considering trying it out this year – I might look cute in it (laughs). My plan for this Christmas is to gift them a long-awaited PlayStation they both can enjoy together. I encourage everyone to take on the role of Santa for their loved ones this Christmas. Making our dear ones happy brings immense joy and fulfilment.” Vidisha Srivastava, aka Anita Bhabi from Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai, shares, “Christmas holds a special place in my heart, and I celebrate it with my friends, attend mass at church and relish delectable food, like wine cake, at restaurants. However, this year marks a change in my Christmas plans as I will be celebrating it with my newborn. I will dress her in Santa attire. Even though she is too young to distribute gifts, I will take on that role on her behalf, presenting gifts to our loved ones. I have completed the shopping and wrapping, and now eagerly await their reactions when they receive these surprise gifts.”

And I actually quite like it. It works well with the theme of our house. Silver has been a recurring theme and colour in our entire house. There really aren't any rules when it comes to making a house. A house, like fashion, should be an expression of yourself."
