He said the bureau is advancing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a drug-free India with commitment and efficiency. “The nation salutes their dedication and patriotism,” he added.

Marking the occasion, the NCB highlighted its journey of over four decades in tackling narcotics-related challenges. The agency said it has remained steadfast in dismantling drug networks, protecting communities, and strengthening the country’s fight against drug abuse.Several security forces also extended greetings to NCB personnel. The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) commended the bureau for its consistent efforts in addressing drug-related challenges and contributing to national security, noting its role in safeguarding communities.The Border Security Force (BSF) lauded the agency’s relentless drive against drug trafficking and emphasised the importance of coordinated efforts among agencies to secure borders and build a drug-free nation.
