The Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB) have detained several people following a raid on a party on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai. The anti-drugs agency seized banned substances that were allegedly being consumed at a party on board the ship. As per media reports the party began after the ship left Mumbai and was at sea. So far no arrest has been made by us, Sameer Wankhede, NCB Zonal Director told the reporters and added that the probe is underway. Drugs have been recovered. We are investigating 8-10 persons,
The NCB is questioning Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan in the Mumbai drug bust case on Cordelia Cruises' Empress ship. Aryan Khan has not been booked on any charges, neither has he been arrested so far, said Wankhede, Zonal Director of NCB. Acting on a tip-off, NCB officials led by zonal director Sameer Wankhede boarded the ship disguised as passengers on Saturday. The rave party began once the cruise ship left the coast of Mumbai and reached mid-sea.
Last month, the directorate of revenue intelligence seized close to 3,000kg of heroin at Gujarat's Mundra port and recovered around 37 kg of the narcotic drug and other contraband items from Delhi and Noida.
