Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, in his first remarks since the US airstrikes on Iranian nuclear sites, said the attack revealed that Washington is the main force behind Israel’s military campaign against the Islamic Republic. Quoted by state news agency IRNA, Pezeshkian said the United States “joined the arena after witnessing Israel's impotence.” “This aggression showed that America is the main factor behind the Zionist regime's hostile actions against the Islamic Republic of Iran,” Pezeshkian said.
Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization confirmed that the strikes targeted its Fordo, Isfahan, and Natanz sites, but insisted that its nuclear programme would continue. Satellite images taken on Sunday and analysed by The Associated Press show damage to the entryways of Iran's underground nuclear site at Fordo following the US airstrikes.A close-up satellite view from June 22 show holes and craters on a ridge at Iran’s Fordow underground nuclear complex near Qom after US strikes, alongside an image captured before the attack for comparison.

A Hezbollah spokesman cited by the outlet said that Iran is capable of defending itself against both Washington and Tel Aviv, and the group remains committed to the terms of its ceasefire agreement.
