Ukraine’s parliament on Thursday approved a bill to allow the seizure of assets or property in Ukraine owned by Russia or Russian citizens due to the invasion of Ukraine. According to agency reports, under the law, the government can suggest which assets to confiscate to the Security Council, which must then give its approval for their transfer to state ownership.
Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelenskyy hit out at Russia claiming his country survived world wars, famines, holocaust, occupation of Crimea and vowed to rebuild the country after the war. Russia will compensate Ukraine for all the damages it suffered, he said. Zelenskyy said, "We have survived two world wars, three famines, the Holocaust, Babyn Yar, the Great Purge, the Chornobyl explosion, the occupation of Crimea, and the war in the east of our state." He also vowed to rebuild Ukraine after the war. We will restore every house, every street, every city.Zelenskyy said, "They wanted to destroy us so many times, but they couldn't. We've been through so much. And if someone thinks that after overcoming all this, Ukrainians, all of us, will be scared, broken, or surrender, he just doesn't know anything about us. He (Putin) knows nothing about Ukraine." According to a tweet of the Kyiv Indipendent Russia have suffered massive loss.

Neanwhile,Russian forces have fully captured the building of the Kherson Oblast Administration, according to governor Hennadiy Lahuta. Russian forces strike at residential buildings in central Chernihiv.
