DKS(64) took oath in Kannada in the name of his much believed Deity 'Gangadhar Ajjayya' exactly at 4.05 pm as directed by his guruji and astrologer. Kannadigas were expecting to see new faces in new DKS cabinet disillusioned to see the same old ministerial faces of Siddu Government. U T Khader is also old face as Assembly Speaker. Yatindra Siddaramaiah is a known distract or of DKS by controversial, unwanted, childish statements on power sharing. This new cabinet is like old proverb 'old wine in new bottle'. Bottle is also old in a way. Only lid seems to be new. Kannadigas cannot expect much from this new DKS government as we have seen them since last 3 years. There are only two new faces in his team. That is Siddaramaiah son Yathindra and Assemly Speaker UT Khader. The remaining 11 ministers are from the erstwhile out going cabinet of Siddaramaiah. Dr G Parameshwar promoted to rank of Deputy Chief Minister.LOP of Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge and scores of dignitaries were present in the oath taking ceremony held at lok bhavan, Bengaluru.
