Sa Re Ga Ma Pa: Mithun Da's heartfelt revelation after contestant Rik Basu’s performance

The upcoming weekend episode of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa featuring Himesh Reshammiya, Neeti Mohan, and Anu Malik as judges, and Aditya Narayan as the host will see an entertainment extravaganza as the legendary Bollywood actor- Mithun Chakraborty will be seen gracing the ‘Mithun Da Special’ episode. 
Amidst an extraordinary display of talent from all the contestants, it was Rik Basu's rendition of the 'Disco Dancer' song that left the audience in awe. Following Rik's outstanding performance, Anu Malik couldn't resist praising Mithun's exceptional acting in the movie 'Prem Pratigyaa,' a story of pain, love, and commitment. During this poignant moment, Mithun Da revealed that he watches the show and is aware of Rik's past, where he had once experienced deep love that ultimately ended in separation. In a heartfelt exchange, Mithun Da also shared his own experiences with love and heartbreak, emphasizing that one chapter in our lives should not define our entire journey.
Mithun expressed, “Overall, I admire your performance, and I've been following this show. I'm aware of your past Rik, and I can empathize with how you must be feeling. Everyone goes through challenging phases, but what I've learned from my own experience is this: Loving and being in love is a wonderful thing, but being blinded by it is not. I went through a similar situation in my life; I was deeply in love, but then she left me. That pivotal moment transformed my life, and I evolved from being a regular star to a superstar. Now people refer to me as a living legend.”
He further added, “ I coincidentally met that girl on a train. She hid from me when she saw me. I approached her and told her she made the right call leaving me back then. I had nothing to offer, no stable future, no home, and barely enough to eat. She teared up, regretting how she treated me. I reassured her, saying her decision helped shape who I am today. I held onto my determination. Rik, I believe that when the circle of life is complete, she will eventually meet you, and any remaining hard feelings will disappear. God will make that happen”.

Rohitashv Gour’s emotional homecoming at his acting school after 20 years 

School isn't just where we learn; it's a special place filled with knowledge, experiences, and memories that shape our lives. Even after we graduate and move on, the lessons and cherished moments from those important years stay with us. Returning to our old school, walking down those familiar halls, and reliving the past can be a heartwarming experience. Recently, actor Rohitashv Gour, immensely popular for his portrayal of Manmohan Tiwari in &TV's Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, had the chance to embark on a heartwarming journey. After two decades, he visited his acting school in Delhi, rekindling a profound sense of nostalgia and reconnection with his roots.
Talking about it, Rohitashv Gour, aka Manmohan Tiwari from Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, shares, “After finishing my studies in Himachal, I moved to Delhi to pursue an acting career. Fortunately, I gained admission to NSD (National School of Drama). It was my first time living away from family, and I'll admit it was tough. Adapting to the new city and honing my acting skills took several years. Looking back now, I'm filled with gratitude. My time at acting school and subsequent performances were instrumental in shaping my career. I always wanted to go back and relive those memories, especially after moving to Mumbai, but it never happened despite my visits to Delhi. Recently, I finally got the chance. While in Delhi to attend Luv Kush Ramlila as Manmohan Tiwari, the next day, being a former student of this prestigious institute, I returned to my school after a two-decade absence. As soon as I stepped through the gates, tears welled up in my eyes. The nostalgia was overwhelming. I spent much time catching up with my teachers and other staff members. Their delight and praise for my work on my show – Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, were heartwarming. I couldn't resist savouring the canteen tea that had been a cherished part of our lives when we struggled financially. I also enjoyed watching a play titled "Laila Majnu," directed by Mr Ram Gopal Bajaj, on the same stage I had performed before, which evoked deep emotions and flooded me with memories. Although the infrastructure may have changed, the affection and warmth the place holds for aspiring actors remain constant. Meeting old friends there was a delightful surprise, reminding me that many others who have successful careers in the industry also share a deep attachment to the place. This realisation truly warmed my heart, and I eagerly look forward to visiting that place again.”
