Rahul knows nothing about Cong, BJP hits back at ‘Vote Chori’ claims

The BJP on Thursday mocked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's presser in New Delhi, calling it a “damp squib” and accusing the leader of opposition in Lok Sabha of making false claims. BJP leader Pradeep Bhandari took a swipe at Rahul by twisting the name of his “Chhatron Ki Goonj” initiative, calling the Congress press conference “Jhoot Ki Goonj”.
Taking to X, Bhandari wrote: "Rahul Gandhi is a frustrated leader not able to win People's support through democratic means." Bhandari then listed what he called two “lies” from Rahul's press conference and offered his counterpoints as "truths."
The first was Rahul's claim that there had been no anti-incumbency against the BJP since 2014. Countering it, Bhandari said: “BJP has lost 20 elections since 2014.” His second point was Rahul's question over how Prime Minister Narendra Modi had managed to win elections consecutively. Bhandari responded: “Did Congress under Nehru did "Vote Chori", or does Congress win in Rae Bareilly 16 times in consectutive.”"Loktantra ki chor Congress is frustrated as the Gandhi-Vadra family is democratically made to sit in the Opposition by the people of India," said BJP Spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari.
Making a counter to Rahul's "no anti-incumbency for PM Modi" claim, BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi said, "He (Rahul Gandhi) stated that anti-incumbency is an established truth in this country and that this phenomenon has persisted since the BJP came to power. I feel that, politically speaking, Rahul Gandhi is devoid of wisdom and knowledge; he fails to grasp the reality. Anti-incumbency hascertainly been very consistent and strong against the Congress. He lacks an  understanding of Indian politics.
"The Congress has never returned to power in Tamil Nadu since 1967, a time when the Bharatiya Janata Party did not even exist. The Congress has not returned to power in Bengal since 1977; the Communists ruled there for 34 years from 1977 to 2011, yet Rahul Gandhi neither understands nor sees this...And yet, he brings up the issue of anti-incumbency," Rajya Sabha member added.
