He highlighted his interaction with women workers at the plantation, appreciating their dedication and contribution.“We are very proud of the efforts of every tea garden family. Their hard work and perseverance have enhanced Assam’s pride,” Modi said, while also sharing glimpses of his visit, including moments where he joined workers during tea leaf plucking and engaged with them about their culture.

The sector provides employment to lakhs of workers and plays a key role in India’s tea exports and regional economy.Modi is also scheduled to address a series of public rallies across Assam in the coming days ahead of the state assembly elections.
