Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday held a private meeting with his Israeli counterpart, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, at Ben-Gurion International Airport, shortly after arriving in Israel for a two-day State Visit. The two leaders discussed a wide range of issues aimed at further strengthening bilateral ties. The two leaders discussed a wide range of subjects, including sectors like “technology, water management, agriculture, talent partnership and more offer immense scope for close collaboration.” Modi and Netanyahu also discussed key developments in the region. “Had an excellent meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu. Expressed gratitude to him for the warm welcome earlier in the day. It is a delight to be back in Israel after 9 years,” PM Modi said on X.
The Indian diaspora in Israel welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Israel with vibrant cultural performances. The performances included music and dance from different parts of India, ANI news agency reported. Israeli PM Netanyahu, after PM Modi's arrival, called his visit to the country “historic.”
