PM Modi arrives in Malaysia on a two-day visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday arrived in Malaysia on a two-day visit where he was received by his Malaysian counterpart Anwar Ibrahim at the  Kuala Lumpur airport. A huge contingent from the Indian diaspora in Malaysia was present at the airport to welcome PM Modi. School children holding Indian and Malaysian flags waived them as the PM and the Malaysian Prime Minister walked down the red carpet. The two Prime Ministers were then seen sharing the same car as they drove towards the official hotel.Later, Addressing the Indian diaspora, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, Malaysia has the second largest Indian origin community in the world. There is so much that connects Indian and Malaysian hearts... You are the living bridge that links us.

Modi will hold wide-ranging talks with the Malaysian prime minister on Sunday, which are expected to produce a number of agreements to further expand cooperation between the two nations.
